Morocco Reaffirms its Support to Joint Arab Health Action

Cairo - Health Minister Houcine El Ouaradi reiterated, here Thursday, Morocco's support to joint Arab action in the field of health.
Morocco will spare no effort to promote joint Arab action in the field of health, particularly through designing concrete solutions to guarantee health security in the Arab world and its development, El Ouaradi said in an allocution during the 45th Ministerial Session of Arab Health Ministers Council that was read out by Morocco's ambassador to Egypt, Kingdom's permanent representative to the Arab League, Mohamed Saad Alami.

He added that Morocco has always sought the adoption of adequate cooperation mechanisms, notably the exchange of expertise between Arab League member States.

The Moroccan Minister recalled the decisions taken during Morocco's presidency of Arab Health Ministers Council, adding that the implementation of these decisions could substantially improve health conditions of the people in Arab countries.

He cited among these decisions, the Arab AIDS Strategy (2014-2020) and numerous measures to improve maternal, child and elderly health in the Arab World.
