Samedi 30 Janvier 2016

Morocco was re-elected unanimously, here on Friday, as Vice President of the Executive Committee of the European Centre for Global Interdependence and Solidarity, commonly known as "North-South Centre."

Morocco was reappointed for another two-year mandate as Vice President of the center's executive committee, during a meeting that saw the participation of a Moroccan delegation led by Morocco's Consul General in Strasbourg, in charge of relations with the Council of Europe, Mohamed Arrrouchi.

Morocco is the only non-statutory member of the Council of Europe to sit on the executive committee of the center, which is an autonomous institution of the Council of Europe, established in November 1989 as an "Enlarged Partial Agreement."
