Morocco, Major African Country Attracting Investments

Vendredi 19 Février 2016

Rome - Morocco is one of the African countries with strong economic potential that represents a major investment destination, said an official of the American consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.
Investments in Egypt declined because of the "socio-political turbulence," while the Kingdom of Morocco remains one of the most stable African countries that can attract more investors, said Hendrick Malan, the Operations Director for Frost & Sullivan Africa, the Italian news agency ANSA reported.

"We focus on 11 African economies that regularly attract investment and high economic growth in a context of stability", he added.

In addition to Morocco and Egypt, Malan cited South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Uganda.

"These countries are able to attract the majority of investments in Africa," he added.

Frost & Sullivan is a growth partnership company focused on helping clients achieve transformational growth as they work through an economic environment dominated by accelerating change, increasing risk and the powerful disruptive impact of the conversion of new business models, disruptive technologies and mega trends on their industry.

It has offices in over 40 countries and some 800 analysts.
