Morocco, Gabon for swift setting up of Moroccan-Gabonese business council, Joint Statement
Libreville - Morocco and Gabon emphasized the need to set up, as soon as possible, a bilateral business council in order to give impetus to their economic cooperation. HM King Mohammed VI and President Ali Bongo "strongly reaffirmed the need for" the rapid setting up of a Moroccan-Gabonese business Council, said a joint statement released on Friday after the working and brotherhood visit by the Sovereign in Republic of Gabon. This council will serve as a mechanism to boost economic ties in order to match the excellent political relations between Gabon and Morocco.

The Sovereign and the Gabonese President have welcomed the holding in Rabat, on September 2-5, 2013, the 6th session of the Morocco-Gabon joint cooperation commission, which marked a turning point in the shared commitment of Gabon and Morocco to a model of strategic partnership in south-south cooperation.
