Morocco, France Set to Promote Cooperation in Security
Rabat - National Police boss received, here Friday, his French peer Jean-Marc Falcone, accompanied by Director of International Cooperation, Emile Perez.

The visit is part of the efforts aimed at promoting relations between Moroccan and French police and reflects the commitment of both countries to revive security assistance, through new instruments for a fruitful bilateral cooperation, National Police (DGSN) said in a statement.

Both parties seized this opportunity to determine the priorities of operational cooperation, notably the exchange of expertise in various fields, such as the fight against drug trafficking, terrorism and crime related to new technologies, as well as the exchange of information and strategic analysis reports to fight crime in all its forms, the same source added.

This meeting was also an opportunity to strengthen technical cooperation between the two countries, through training sessions meant to promote operational capacity of law enforcement forces and capacity development of technical and scientific expertise in the field of forensic science, according to the statement.
