Morocco, FAO Ink Cooperation Agreement in Technical Assistance to Develop Framework Law of Social

Rabat - Morocco and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) signed, here Thursday, a technical cooperation agreement on the development of a Framework Law of social and solidarity economy.

This project, signed by Minister of Handicraft and Social Economy, Fatima Marwan, and FAO Representative in Morocco, Michael George Hage, is part of the 2013- 2016 Country Program signed between FAO and the Government of Morocco in April 2013.

This agreement will allow Morocco to have, for the first time, a framework law for social and solidarity economy capitalizing on Moroccan assets in this field and taking advantage of the experiences around the world about the legislation on social and solidarity economy.
