Morocco-EU Association Committee assesses Monday the implementation of association agreement
Rabat - The ninth session the Morocco-EU Association Committee, to be held Monday in Rabat, will assess the implementation of the Morocco-European Union Association Agreement and the Action Plan of the European Neighbourhood Policy.

The meeting will examine various issues on the agenda of relations between Morocco and the EU, identify actions likely to strengthen cooperation between the two parties and set priorities to reinforce the exemplary partnership between the two parties, in light of the ambitious objectives of the Action Plan for the implementation of Advanced Status, which came into force on 1 January 2013.
Since the holding of the last session of the Committee, relations between Morocco and the EU have seen a boost, particularly through the entry into force of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Advanced Status (2013-2017) and the Free Trade Area, ??the signing of the Political Declaration establishing a Mobility Partnership, and the conclusion of several important agricultural agreements.
In addition, Morocco participated in EU programmes and negotiations on a deep and comprehensive Free Trade Agreement and on the renewal of the Fisheries Protocol were launched.
