Morocco, Cameroon committed to promote bilateral cooperation in infrastructure and training fields

Rabat - Minister of Equipment and Transport, Aziz Rabbah, and the Cameroonian public works minister, Amba Salla Patrice, expressed on Wednesday in Rabat, the willingness of their countries to boost bilateral cooperation, especially in infrastructure and training fields.

Morocco is determined to go further in bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Cameroon, particularly in the areas of infrastructure (port, airport, road and highway), air and maritime transport to facilitate "personal mobility and trade" and the training pole, said Rabbah during a meeting with his Cameroonian counterpart.

In a statement to the press, Rabbah stressed the excellent relations of cooperation between Morocco and Cameroon at all levels, noting that his department is looking forward to giving a strong impetus to cooperation in the areas of air transport, airports and legislation.

Amba Salla Patrice, for his part, expressed the wish of his department to benefit from the Moroccan experience particularly in the areas of training, construction and management of infrastructure of roads and highways.

"We want to take advantage of the Moroccan experience in particular for the construction of roads," he said.

On cooperation in air transport, the Cameroonian Minister of Public Works formulated the wish to see the Cameroonian airline company open a second line alongside the service set up by the Moroccan company RAM to provide a free choice to travelers of the two countries.
