Morocco-Africa air traffic up 11% in December 2014

Casablanca - Air traffic between Morocco and African countries posted a year-on-year increase of 11.33% last December, the National Airport Office (ONDA) said.

This performance is ascribed to an increase in the number of African passengers transiting through Moroccan airports which stood at 99,836 travellers up from 98,679 in December 2013.

Despite this increase, air traffic with Africa accounts only for 7.65 of Morocco's international air traffic which registered by December 1,302,261 passengers.

In 2014, 17,294,871 passengers transited to African countries through Moroccan ports, that is an annual growth of 4.84% compared to 2013.
