Moroccan police denies having issued a call to citizens to report suspicious activity
Rabat - The Moroccan police (DGSN) denied having issued calls to citizens to report suspicious activity or the possession of guns by individuals through the phone or direct contact with closest security or military units.

In a statement to MAP, the DGSN explains that a page on facebook has published a call inviting citizens to report by phone any suspicious activity, adding that this post on facebook used the Moroccan flag on the background claming it is emanating from a public authority.

The DGSN makes it clear that the security services spare no effort to safeguard citizens' peace and security against all threats.

The DGSN adds that the phone numbers of the police and Gendarmerie are known and open to all citizens 24/24.
