Moroccan parliamentary delegation meets in Stockholm with speaker of Swedish parliament
Stockholm - A Moroccan parliamentary delegation met, on Wednesday in Stockholm, with speaker of the Swedish parliament Per Westerberg, on the sidelines of its participation in a meeting of the committee on political issues and democracy of the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly.

The meeting, organized by the Moroccan embassy in Stockholm, touched on means and ways to further cooperation between the legislative bodies of both countries, as well as the approach to adopt in order to better inform Swedish MPs of the situation in Morocco.
On the Sahara issue, the Moroccan delegation underlined the need for the Swedish MPs to learn about the viewpoint of Morocco to have a clear idea about this artificial conflict and not be fooled by allegations of the foes of Morocco's territorial integrity.
The Moroccan delegation met also with the leader of the Green Party group in the Swedish parliament, Mehmet Kaplan, on ways to develop cooperation ties between the two countries in general.
