Moroccan Foreign delegate-minister attends Guinea's hydro-electric dam dedication ceremony

Conakry - Moroccan delegate minister for foreign affairs and cooperation Mbarka Bouaida, represented on Monday HM King Mohammed VI in the dedication ceremony of the Kaleta hydroelectric dam in Dubreka, western Guinea.

The ceremony, chaired by Guinea's president Alpha CONDE, was held in the presence of several West African presidents and ministerial delegations of other countries.

Launched in 2012, the dam, built on the Konkouré river, is scheduled to supply electricity to the country and later to other countries of the region.

The dam total cost is estimated at 526 million dollars, financed by Guinea and its international partners.
