The band consists of five members, committing car theft, fraud and drug trafficking incities of Casablanca, Mohammedia and Deroua.
The arrest of its leader, who was on the run, took place after a hunt and put under surveillance allowing to detect and trace the accused who regularly visited his stepmother in his home located in Mohammedia Boulevard Kadi Tazi .
To cover his tracks and not to attract attention, he moved around in a rental car, a police source said, adding that the accused has shown fierce resistance during his arrest.
In his confession, the respondent told the police that he sold stolen cars to a receiver who runs a shop selling used cars in Temara.
As for the origin of the drug selling , he admitted that he provided a dealer based in Deroua, a few kilometers from Casablanca.
The accused was referred to the prosecution for, inter alia, car theft, drug trafficking and fraud.
