Man Arrested in Agadir for Speculating on Face Masks Price - Police

Rabat - Policemen at the port of Agadir arrested Tuesday a 33-year-old man for his alleged involvement in speculations on the price of face masks, which are subsidized by the Covid-19 Pandemic Management Special Fund.

The suspect was arrested at the fishing port while selling face masks subsidized by the Special Fund for the Management of the Coronavirus Pandemic at the price of 5 Dirhams per unit, while the price set by the relevant parties is 0,8 DH, National Police said in a statement.

Policemen seized 82 masks in addition to a sum of money, the source added. The man was placed on custody, while investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
