The list of lucky winners will be disclosed by the actors Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane shortly after 5:30 (1330 GMT) in Beverly Hills, the headquarters of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences Film.

No film is clearly separated from the lot in recent months during the pre-campaign Oscars - unlike the French film "The Artist" last year - but it seems clear that "Lincoln" and "Zero Dark Thirty "figure prominently in the ranking of appointed.

"Lincoln," which recounts the struggle of the most revered American presidents for the abolition of slavery, is already leading the nominations at the Golden Globes - given the weekend - and should win easily in multiple categories, including best director for Steven Spielberg, and Best Actor for Daniel Day-Lewis.

"Zero Dark Thirty", which brilliantly recreates the hunt for Osama bin Laden, is also expected to win its share of nominations, including its director, Kathryn Bigelow, and its main actress Jessica Chastain.

Other securities that may compete for the Oscar for best film are "Happiness Therapy" by David O. Russell, "The odyssey of Pi" Ang Lee's "Les Miserables" Tom Hooper, "Argo" and Ben Affleck's "Django Unchained" from Quentin Tarantino.

Side actors, besides Daniel Day-Lewis and Jessica Chastain, there should be the main actors of your favorite movies, including Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackman and even Ben Affleck. Women, Marion Cotillard, thanks to its good performance in "From Rust and Bone", could find a place alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway.

In the category of best foreign film, "Love" by Michael Haneke is almost certain to be present (in the colors of Austria), while the French "Untouchables" also has a good chance of inclusion in the list.

Other French hopes are to be sought in the original music, with Alexandre Desplat, and animation with "The Rabbi's Cat" by Joann Sfar and shorts "Dripped" Leo Verrier and "Tram" Michaela Pavlatova.

The Oscars will be presented Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
