Tripoli - Libyan foreign minister Mohamed Abdelaziz lauded, on Wednesday in Tripoli, Morocco's efforts in terms of managing the migration issue.

Abdelalziz, who met with Morocco's ambassador to Libya Mohamed Belaich on means to foster bilateral cooperation on economy and development, commended Morocco's serious approach in dealing with the migration issue as it emphasizes the need for pooling efforts by all countries in the region to face migration's cross-border challenges.

The Moroccan ambassador surveyed the Kingdom's action plan, in conformity with the royal instructions, to address problems related to migration.

Belaich said that Morocco will deal with the issue according to a comprehensive approach that includes the humanitarian aspect as a basic lever, pursuant to international law.

The meeting also touched on preparations under way for holding in Morocco the second regional ministerial conference on border security, as well as the Moroccan-Libya economic forum slated on October 13-14 in Tripoli.
