Libreville commends Morocco's migration policy, Joint Statement

President Ali Bongo Ondimba welcomed the implementation by Morocco of a new migration policy to regulate the situation of foreigners, mainly from sub-Saharan Africa, and to promote their integration into the Moroccan society, said a joint statement issued on Friday at the end of the working and brotherhood visit by HM King Mohammed VI in the Gabonese Republic.

The Gabonese Head of State expressed his support for the launch of the African Alliance on Migration and Development, which aims to put back the debate on the issue of migration in its natural environment of hospitality and generosity.
