Algiers: Several Arab media, including Algeria, reported the statements of the Minister of Culture in Algeria, Khalida Toumi, about Islam, prayer, pilgrimage ... However, the Algerian minister has seen the attacks that targeted the campaign, orchestrated by Morocco.
Khalida Toumi accuses Morocco of orchestrating a targetted campaign
"This is a smear campaign launched by thet Egyptians against me with the approval of the Kingdom of Morocco," she said on the sidelines of a meeting of the Council of the Nation.

Khalida Toumi said that some parties want the "defamatory" campaign launched against her as Minister, undermining one of the leaders of the Algerian state, Echorouk reported.

About her book "An Algerian standing " which sparked a wave of reactions both in Algeria and elsewhere, according to the same source, the minister said it was an interview she had given to a French journalist Elizabeth Schemla in 1995, advancing arguments for having really defined the "prayer" as a humiliation to the dignity of the human being, the Muslim bows and puts his head on the ground but it was, she said, in the context of the fight against terrorism and fundamentalism.

For what is prayer, the minister admits: "I pray in my own way", saying she was noted for her father's way of praying was not correct and she replied that "bowing and prostration are bid'ah (innovation) borrowed by nomads from the Gulf."

Khalida Toumi prefers to forget all Arab attacks and remember the Moroccan media revelations that merely reported her remarks.

It must be remembered, in fact, the Egyptian preacher Khaled Abdullah Younis  called Khalida  "rude" praying to God that  she died an "infidel and he reserved a place in Hell for her."

Similarly in Algeria, Abdelfatah Hamaddache called all Algerians to demand the removal of "the one who encourages debauchery."
