Italy, Morocco Ink Cultural, Research Agreements
Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Lahcen Daoudi, and Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, Stefannia Giannini, chaired, here Tuesday, the signing ceremony of an agreement and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Morocco and Italy in the fields of culture and research.
Signed by the presidents of the University of Florence and the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fez, Luigi Dei and Mostapha Bousmina respectively, the cultural and scientific cooperation agreement aims to establish mutual collaboration in the fields of architecture, design and urbanism.
It provides notably for designing courses, organizing conferences, trainings, student exchange programs, and joint research programs in the fields of mutual interest.
As for the MoU, which was signed by Dean of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, Maria Amata Garito, and the president of Al Akhawayn University, Driss Ouaouicha, the two institutions agreed to collaborate in research programs.
They also agreed to initiate exchange of professors, and design e-learning courses in engineering, economics, literature, psychology, and communication sciences.
