Investigation Opened into Circulation on Social Networks of Passengers List of Flight, Including Individual with Covid-19 Symptoms

Casablanca - The public prosecutor's office at the Casablanca first instance Court has ordered the opening of a judicial investigation following the circulation on social networks of the list of passengers on a flight from a foreign country, one of whom showed symptoms of coronavirus.

A statement by the public prosecutor at this Court indicates that "since this act could constitute a criminal offence because of the disclosure of professional secrecy, defamation and violation of personal data, the public prosecutor's office has ordered the opening of a judicial investigation into this case with the legal effects deriving therefrom".
