Interior minister meets with Palestinian peer

Rabat - Interior minister Mohamed Hassad met, on Monday in Rabat, with his Palestinian counterpart Said Abu Ali who is on an visit to Morocco to take part in the 31st session of the council of Arab Interior Ministers slated March 12-13 in Marrakech.

In a statement to the press after the meeting, the Palestinian official said he had discussed with his Moroccan counterpart the holding in Morocco of the 31st Session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, as well as the implementation of provisions of the cooperation agreement signed between Palestine and the Kingdom, which he described as an important and unprecedented initiative in the history of bilateral relations. In addition, Abu Ali wished to express, on behalf of his country, his gratitude and appreciation to Morocco, King, government and people, for their support for the Palestinian cause and tireless efforts in favor of the State of Palestine with Al Quds as its capital.
