Hosting UCLG in Rabat shows that Morocco is world's gateway to Africa, French official

Rabat - Holding the 4 congress of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) in Rabat shows that Morocco is the world's gateway to Africa, French minister delegate for foreign affairs in charge of development Pascal Canfin said.

It is a great strategy by Morocco to aim at becoming one of the world's gateways to Africa, he said while visiting "Rabat Expo" fair held on the sidelines of the 4th UCLG congress.

He described the event as a "historic success" as it is the only venue that brings together that many delegates and elected members from the different cities.
