Geneva - Morocco stands out at the Arab region level thanks to its attractiveness, and capacity to develop know-how and innovative solutions, said, on Monday in Geneva, director of the Institute for European Business Administration (IEBA) Bruno Lanvin.

In the Arab world, countries such as Morocco and Tunisia are among examples of promising success in areas related to knowledge and innovation, said Lanvin who presented the 2013 report on the global index innovation, alongside the head of the World intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Francis Gurry.
Lanvin cited Morocco among the most promising Arab countries in terms of prospects, investment expertise and use of business intelligence solutions.
The country, he said, has many engineering schools whose contribution to the production of knowledge and the promotion of local capacities is undeniable.
Morocco ranked 92nd in the Global Innovation Index, ahead of countries like Egypt (108th), Iran (113th) and Algeria (138th).
