Head of Govt. Highlights in Paris Excellent Relations Between Morocco and France

Paris - Relations between Morocco and France are excellent and marked by friendship, cooperation and mutual respect, said, on Thursday in Paris, head of government Saad Dine El Otmani, who stressed the shared viewpoints by the two countries on several issues of common interest. El Otmani, who co-chaired the 14th High-Level Meeting with French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, noted in a speech during the plenary session that relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic "are based on historical, cultural and human dimensions" and that "we must preserve their singular and exceptional aspect and continue their consolidation".

For El Otmani, this new session of the High-Level Meeting is "an opportunity to affirm, once again, the singular nature of the unwavering friendship and the mutual respect that has always marked bilateral relations between the two countries”, highlighting the “shared viewpoints between the Kingdom of Morocco and the French Republic, with regard to several issues of common interest, which reinforces the basis of this privileged partnership that is growing deeper, and more intense, making it a regional reference."

The exceptional partnership between Morocco and France is supported by the two Heads of State who affirm their common desire to raise it to a level of excellence and continue to make it a reference at the Euro-African and Euro-Mediterranean levels, added El Otmani. On the themes chosen for this event, namely, youth, training and employment, economic development and competitiveness of territories, decentralization and mobility, and climate and environment, the head of government underlined the relevance of these themes "which find their significance and its scope in the capacity of our partnership to adapt to the requirements of new challenges" and in the "dynamic and innovative aspect that drives our partnership which is constantly evolving and renewing itself".
