Head of Govt. Highlights Deep Moroccan-Gabonese Ties

Fez - Head of government Saad Eddine El Othmani highlighted, Wednesday in Fez, the deep Moroccan-Gabonese relations.

In a meeting with Vice President of Gabon Pierre Claver Maganga Moussavou, on the sidelines of his participation in the second Fez-Meknes Economic Forum (June 27-30), the head of government underscored the African policy of HM King Mohammed VI and the priority Morocco gives to South-South cooperation. El Othmani also highlighted the special status of the spiritual capital of the Kingdom for many African countries.

For his part, the Vice-President of Gabon emphasized the excellent relations between the two countries, underlining the special interest that the Gabonese Head of State takes in the participation of his country in the second Fez-Meknes Economic Forum. Claver Maganga also expressed his country's willingness to strengthen bilateral relations in many sectors, particularly in the agricultural one, given the potential of Gabon and its ambitions to develop partnerships between the Fez-Meknes region and the Gabonese city of Mouila.
