HM the King, Commander of the Faithful, to Chair Monday in Rabat Eighth Ramadan Religious Lecture, Religious Evening to Commemorate Laylat Al-Qadr

Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, will chair, Monday at the Rabat Royal Palace, the eighth religious lecture of the holy month of Ramadan and a religious evening to commemorate Laylat Al-Qadr, the ministry of royal household, protocol and chancellery announced. The lecture will be given by Professor Hassan Azzouzi, Head of the Local Council of Ulema of the Province of Moulay Yacoub, on the theme "Cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and African countries in the fight against extremist thinking and terrorism", drawing on the Koranic verse "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."


The lecture will be aired on TV and radio channels starting 5 p.m. HM the King, Commander of the Faithful, will also chair on Monday a religious evening to commemorate Laylat Al-Qadr at the Hassan mosque in Rabat, the source added.


The religious evening will be aired live on the national radio and television after Al-Isha prayer.
