General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises calls for setting up of Moroccan-Czech Business Council

The call was made during a meeting between the President of the CGEM and a Czech business delegation led by Speaker of the Czech Senate Milan Stich.

During the meeting, the two parties stressed the need for unlocking the potential of business opportunities in Morocco and Czech through economic partnership between Rabat and Prague.

"Our partnership can be developed in high potential sectors notably, mines, agri-food, fisheries industry, car making, tourism and chemical industries," said Bensaleh.

Czech Senate Speaker, for his part, said his visit aims to prospect new areas for economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and Morocco.

Stich pointed out to the strategic location of Morocco and its political stability which offers propitious conditions for strengthening economic ties with Czech Republic.

The Czech Senate Speaker is leading a Czech business delegation on a visit to the Kingdom on February 18-22.
