The trial of the 24 accused killers and agents of the Polisario, was opened on 1 February and postponed at the request of their lawyers, to 8 February.

In the Courtroom of the court of justice of the Royal Moroccan Army, 24 accused of murder and mutilation of bodies of 11 security personnel, appeared before the judge and manifested a total disrespect to the families of victims present at the trial.
 
Sources on site, reported that at 52 international observers say they came to support the 24 defendants together chanted separatist slogans and others glorifying the Polisario.
 
Before its own foreign observers, including a large number of them, coming from NGOs, close to the Algerian government, the 24 alledged assassins, began to utter insults and mocking cries, at the families of the 11 victims, slain, their bodies mutilated and brutally contaminated by the urine of their butchers.
 
Scarred by the memory of events, fuelled by the noise in the court room, the recording showing the accused at the time of their crimes, the victims' families had to endure more, mocking shouts and their hurtful expressions directed at them by the 24 accused.

The  incorporated collective victims' families have recently demanded that justice be done, by the punishment of the killers of their children.
