Floods: Moroccan airlift continues in favor of disaster-hit Sudanese people
Sent via an airlift ensured by the royal armed forces (FAR), the aid includes consignments of medicines, tents, foodstuff, water bottles, power-driven pumps and electric generators.

On this occasion, the Sudanese officials, mainly minister in charge of the secretariat of the Sudanese council of ministers Ahmed Saad Omar and environment minister Hassan Abdelkader Hilal, lauded HM King Mohammed VI's decision to send humanitarian aid to the flood-stricken Sudanese population.

The 5 million dirham-aid mirrors the values of solidarity by Morocco, King, government and people, they said.

They added that Morocco was always at the forefront of countries providing help and relief for people affected by catastrophes.

This gesture by HM the King testifies to the ties of brotherhood and friendship between the two peoples, they said.
