Five people before public prosecutor at Rabat appeal court on terror charges

Rabat - The national squad of the judiciary police brought, on Friday, five people before the public prosecutor at the Rabat appeal court for involvement in two terrorism-related cases, a legal source said.

The three culprits, from the city of El Jadida, are sued for forming a criminal gang to prepare and commit terrorist attacks within the framework of a collective plot to seriously undermine public order by intimidation, violence and terror, belonging to a banned religious group, defending terrorism, property destruction, public infrastructure deterioration, insulting policemen while on duty and attempting to help a convict escape.
 
The two other felons, from Tangiers, are sued in another case for forming a criminal gang to prepare and commit terrorist attacks within the framework of a collective plot to seriously undermine public order, belonging to a banned religious group, carrying knives, intimidation, and assault and battery.
