First Moroccan-French agricultural committee opens in Paris

Paris - The first session of the Moroccan-French agricultural committee opened this Tuesday in Paris with discussions between professionals of cereals, cattle-breeding and fruits and vegetables of the two countries.

Other items on this meeting include institutional issues with debates regarding food security, agro-ecology and development of rural territories.

Discussions will also include cooperation in research, agricultural training, food industry, animal health as well as monitoring of agricultural activities and rural development.

On the sidelines of this meeting, Moroccan and French agriculture ministers, respectively Aziz Akhannouch and Stéphane Le Foll chaired on Monday the signing of three partnership agreements in phytosanitary and sanitary fields and agricultural technical training.
