Jeudi 30 Janvier 2020

Rabat - The first African Forum of prison and rehabilitation administrations, organized under the theme "Towards a common vision to strengthen South-South cooperation and confront the challenges and constraints of prison management" opened on Thursday in Rabat, with the participation of 36 countries of the continent.

Organized by the general Delegation of prison administration and reintegration under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this major event is driven by three main objectives: presenting the Moroccan experience in the management of prison affairs in terms of security and reintegration, unifying the management of security challenges common to African countries and, finally, promoting the modernization of prison governance at the continental level.

Initiated in partnership with the Mohammed VI Foundation for the rehabilitation of prisoners, the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) and the OCP group, this two-day forum aims to highlight the evolution of prison management in Morocco and to share it with brotherly and friendly countries on the African continent.
