FM visits Bethlehem and Al Haram Al Ibrahimi, meets with Al Khalil governor

Mezouar also met with the city's governor Kamal Ahmid on means to counter colonization and attempts to judaize the Islamic sites in the holy city of Al Quds and other Palestinian cities, notably with the multiplying hostile acts by the Israeli authorities and the banning of prayers in the Al Aqsa mosque and the Al Haram Al Ibrahimi to Palestinians.

 

Morocco expresses, through this visit to the occupied territories, its support for the Palestinian people and their leadership, under President Mahmoud Abbas, against all attempts of Judaization and destructive Israeli settlement projects, the minister said, reiterating that HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, sees to it to make sure that the holy city's Islamic and civilizational aspect is preserved.

 

The meeting of foreign ministers of the Arab League in Cairo, on Sunday, will be an opportunity to convey to the Arab brothers the pressing need to counter Israeli colonization and provocations, he added.
