'Emerging Markets' nominates Nizar Baraka Finance Minister of the Year 2013 for Middle East and North Africa
Washington - "Emerging Markets", a reference magazine of the WB and the IMF, awarded to former economy and finance minister Nizar Baraka, the prize of Finance Minister of the Year 2013 for Middle East and North Africa.

The prize-awarding ceremony took place on Saturday in Washington on the sidelines of the annual WB and IMF meetings which run until October 13.
The prize was handed to Morocco's ambassador to the US Rachad Bouhlal on behalf of Baraka who was appointed by HM King Mohammed VI as head of the economic, social and environmental council.
The prize was given to Baraka in recognition of his devotion and efficiency in managing the finances of the Kingdom during a very difficult juncture, organizers said.
