Lemag : Electronic cigarettes "may emit potentially carcinogenic compounds" according to a study by the magazine "60 millions consumers" based on tests on a dozen models of disposable or rechargeable cigarettes.

The magazine reveals also problems with labeling, manufacturing defects and nicotine false such as the acrolein,  a toxic molecule  emitted in very significant quantities by the electronic cigarrettes.

According to the magazine  the manufacturers  forget sometime to mention  the presence  of glycol propylene  on the cigarrette  or  mention that  cigarrettes  do not contain this molecule.

When they  display a dose of nicotine liquid refills  it does not always correspond to what is mentioned.

"On 10 liquids that we tested, there are six that were not consistent with what they proclaimed and  the difference between  the displayed value and the real value goes sometime until 70%", says  the magazine.

Electronic cigarettes of this brand include "levels that exceed even those sometimes  can be measured in smoke some cigarettes".

In front of  this the study leads to regulate the sale of these electronic cigarettes by  controlling  the product recommend to alert health authorities.
