Rabat - Eight people were killed and 42 others injured after a bus overturned on Sunday afternoon in the Bab Marzouka commune (Taza province), according to local authorities.
The wounded were transferred to the Ibnou Baja provincial hospital to receive the necessary treatment, the same source noted, adding that three victims died after they arrived at the hospital.
An investigation was opened by the security authorities under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office to determine the circumstances of this accident.
