E-mtiaz 2019: MAP Wins Award of Excellence for its "MAP News Display" Application
Rabat - The Moroccan News Agency (MAP) won, Wednesday in Rabat, the Award of Excellence in the "Mobile Applications" category for its "Map News Display" application, at the 13th edition of the National Electronic Administration Prize "e-mtiaz 2019". The award was handed to MAP Director General, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, at a ceremony chaired by Head of Government Saad Dine El Otmani.
"The award we received today for MAP News Display is a recognition of a team, a project and an organization. It is a recognition of our ability to imagine, work and manage complex projects, which makes us justly proud," Hachimi Idrissi told MAP. "In order to succeed in delivering such a project, it obviously takes expertise, the search for excellence, while committing to improving the quality of the processes to achieve a product that is truly useful to MAP users and its customers," he added.
"We can now imagine products, produce them and market them", he said, noting that this process is now completely under control, which means that each year MAP provides "every minute and every moment" a certain number of products and services. Organized by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Administrative Reform, this award aims to encourage successful e-administration projects and initiatives and to pay tribute to the teams that carry these projects.
As in the previous years, the National Electronic Administration Award "e-mtiaz 2019" is awarded to the best public electronic services in four categories: "e-Content", "e-Approach", "Mobile Applications" and "e-Community Participation".
