Casablanca - The strong will of HM King Mohammed VI to secure to young people better integration in the job market and meet increasing needs in skilled labor, particularly in new trades, was once again illustrated Wednesday by the Sovereign's dedication of a specialized institute in trades of aeronautics and airports logistics in Nouaceur.
Dedication of specialized institute for aeronautics professions in Nouaceur: Royal will to support development of new trades in Morocco
This training and excellence institute is in harmony with the Royal speech delivered on the 60th anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People (marked on August 20) in which the Sovereign had called for perfecting young persons' skills, hone their knowledge and enable them to work in new trades in Morocco, such as in the car industry, call centers and aeronautics sectors.

The new institute, carried out with an investment of 72.2 million dirhams, will support the aeronautics sector boom and the national industrial emergence Pact. It also meets needs in skilled and high level human resources of aeronautics plants settled in Morocco.

Built over an area of 15,000 square meters, this training pole will be an important incubator for this high added-value sector with its various branches. Endowed with training spaces and equipment, meeting international standards made available by the Office of Vocational Training and Work Promotion (OFPPT), the institute will offer a wide range of training specialties for around 2,000 trainees.

The institute will confirm the importance of the Nouaceur Aeropole, poised to become an aeronautic city, thanks to the impulse given by HM the King. It hosts increasing numbers of world references in aeronautics seeking growth opportunities (Bombardier, Boeing, EADS, Safran, le Piston Français, Creuzet Aéronautique, Ratier Figeac...)

On this occasion, HM the King chaired the signing ceremony of two partnership conventions between the office of vocational training and work promotion (OFPPT), Royal Air Maroc and the National airports office (ONDA).

The convention signed by OFPPT and RAM CEO's provides for developing vocational training in the sector of aeronautics, by setting up training of Aeronautics maintenance technicians and continuous training for RAM staff.

The second convention signed by OFPPT and ONDA seeks to set up training units to meet the ONDA's human resources needs.
