Death of Faten Hamama: Morocco's ambassador to Egypt offers Morocco's condolences
Cairo - Morocco's ambassador to Egypt and permanent delegate to the Arab League Mohamed Saad Alami offered, on Sunday on behalf of HM the King and the Moroccan people, Morocco's condolences over the death of Arab cinema's icon, Egyptian actress Faten Hamama.

Upon the instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan ambassador extended condolences to the Egyptian leadership and people, as well as to the deceased's relatives and all Egyptian actors during the funeral held on Sunday after Adduhr Prayer at the Al Hussari mosque in the Oct. 6th city near Cairo.

Hamama's family members and several artists lauded the initiative of HM the King to task the ambassador with offering condolences on behalf of the sovereign.

HM the King had received the actress back in 2001 at the Agadir royal palace and awarded her the wissam of intellectual merit.
