Covid-19: 92 New Cases Confirmed in Morocco, 1,113 in Total (Ministry of Health)
Rabat - Ninety-two new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco until Monday 8 a.m. , bringing to 1,113 the total number of cases of contamination, announced the ministry of Health.
The number of recoveries stands at 76, while the death toll increases to 71, said the ministry on the portal "www.covidmaroc.ma".
In addition, the number of cases excluded after negative laboratory results amounts to 3,954, according to the same source.
The 1,113 positive cases were reported in the regions of Casa-Settat (327), Marrakech Safi (212), Rabat Salé Kenitra (187), Fez-Meknes (142), Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima (91), the Eastern region (59), Daraa-tafilalet, (43), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (28), Souss-Massa (19), Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (4) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1), specified the ministry, noting that the region of Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab has not recorded any cases.
The ministry urges citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities, and to show responsibility and patriotism.
