Counter-terror fight: Mohamed Salah Tamek highlights in Washington Morocco's multidimensional approach
Washington - Delegate-general of the penitentiary and reintegration administration Mohamed Salah Tamek highlighted, on Monday in Washington, Morocco's multidimensional approach to prevent and fight terrorism and religious extremism to eradicate sources of the phenomenon which threatens the Maghreb and the Sahel.

Beyond security vigilance in the fight against terrorism, Morocco was aware of the need to intensify efforts to halt this plague by adopting a holistic strategy in the area, Tamek said at a conference held by US think tank "The Washington Institute for Near East Policy" on the theme: "Morocco's approach to fight violent extremism.
This anti-radicalization strategy, said Tamek who co-chaired the working group on Security of the Morocco-USA Strategic dialogue, is based on the following triptych: the institution of commandership of the faithful which spares Morocco politically-motivated religious deviation, the Moroccan religious reference based on the Malekite rite and the Ashaarit dogma which draw on the virtues of moderation and balance, and the unwavering commitment of Morocco to fostering democratic achievements.
