Benkirane meets with president of Arab Tourism Organization

During the meeting, both officials discussed ways to promote cooperation between Morocco and the Arab organization, particularly in terms of training, E -tourism, improving the quality of tourism services, and the promotion of sustainable tourism in rural areas, said a statement from the head of government's office.

On this occasion, Al Fahid expressed satisfaction with the active contribution of Morocco to the success of ATO's initiatives on the promotion of sustainable tourism and Arab cooperation in the field of training and the monitoring of the recommendations of the Council of Arab Ministers of Tourism, the same source said. In a statement to the press after the meeting, which was notably attended by the Minister of State and the Minister of Tourism, ATO president stressed the importance of the tourism industry and its direct impact on economic growth, sustainable development, and the fight against poverty.
