Authorities say Ikea's store opening cancelled for absence of "conformity certificate"

Casablanca - Local authorities of Zenata (Prefecture of Mohammedia) said Ikea's planned opening of a store on September 29 was cancelled because the company lacked a "conformity certificate" that should be delivered by the commune and competent administration.

Any new opening date announced by Ikea is not binding for Moroccan authorities, sources at the Wilaya of Casablanca say.

The store opening is impossible without the conformity certificate, the source adds.
