Authorities Arrest Recidivist in Possession of 10,600 Hallucinogenic Tablets in Oujda
Rabat - Police services in the eastern city of Oujda arrested on Sunday a recidivist in possession of 10,600 tablets of the Rivotril psychotropic drug.

The arrest is part of efforts led by security services to fight trafficking of hallucinogenic tablets, the national police (DGSN) said in a statement.
Following investigations by the police services, the 35 year-old recidivist was arrested on the highway in possession of the drug which he carefully concealed in the back doors of his car.
The preliminary results of the investigations show that the arrested individual is a member of an organised criminal network.
The investigations are underway to arrest the other members of the network, the police said in the statement.
The recidivist was placed on pre-trial detention as investigations are still on-going under the supervision of the General Prosecutor, the same source said.
