Buenos Aires - Argentina's independent news agency "Alternative Press Agency", highlighted the growing international support for Morocco's sovereignty over its southern provinces, referring to the stances of many countries, particularly African states, which have reaffirmed their support for the Kingdom's territorial integrity through concrete actions.

Under the title "New recognition of Morocco's sovereignty over its southern provinces", the agency wrote that Morocco's great weight on the international scene, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, continues to materialize and translate into palpable realities enshrining the sovereignty of the Kingdom over its Sahara.

The author of the article, Adalberto Carlos Agozino, highlighted the regular visits of foreign delegations to take part in the various international events organized in the southern provinces of Morocco, recalling the twinning agreements between Moroccan cities in this region and other world cities, as well as the opening of consulates in the south of the Kingdom.

In this regard, the Argentinian expert in international relations mentioned the opening by Côte d'Ivoire and the Union of the Comoros of consulates in Laayoune, and the announcement by the Gambia of the forthcoming opening of a consulate in the city of Dakhla, "the pearl of the Atlantic Ocean".

Agozino affirmed that these concrete actions enshrine Morocco's legitimate rights of sovereignty over its southern provinces, underscoring the place enjoyed by HM King Mohammed VI at the international level, as Leader of the African Union on the issue of migration and Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.

In addition, the Argentinian academician shed light on the achievements of the Kingdom during the twenty years of the reign of HM King Mohammed VI, referring in particular to Morocco's return to the African Union, the Kingdom's economic presence on the African continent as a second investor, its participation in United Nations peacekeeping missions and its positioning as a major donor of humanitarian aid to African countries.

Morocco, he added, has become the most important industrial pole in North Africa and the most stable democracy in the region, noting that this stability and leadership has helped make Morocco a preferred destination for foreign investment and an important player in UN peace missions.

According to the Argentinian news agency, Morocco's opponents will eventually admit the futility of their separatist manoeuvres and stop supporting deceptive illusions in order to embrace a realism capable of guaranteeing Maghreb integration and stability in the region.
