Morocco's experience is worth analyzing, monitoring and enforcing in other Arab societies, Samikh Al Marri said in an address read on his behalf at the opening of the 9th annual meeting of Arab national human rights institutions.

According to the president of the Arab Network for National Institutions of Human Rights, transitional justice does not stem from a "political decision" but from a practice agreed upon between the different parties in order to achieve the desired goals of justice mechanisms.

For his part, the president of the National Council for Human Rights (CNDH), Driss El Yazami, said that the meeting aims to promote the exchange of experiences and good practices in the Arab world in the area of reconciliation, transitional justice and democratic transition.

The ninth annual meeting of national human rights institutions discussed the experiences of transitional justice in the Arab region and adopted the Statute and Rules of Procedure of the Network.
