Arab League Condemns Iranian 'meddling' in Saudi Arabia's Internal Affairs
The Arab League Council condemned on Sunday Iran's "meddling" in Saudi Arabia's internal affairs.
In a statement published at the end of an emergency meeting, the Council expressed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia and also with the measures taken by this country to fight all forms of terrorism.
The council hailed the condemnation of Iranian attacks by Arab and Islamic countries and called on the international community to take steps to prevent repetition of such acts against diplomatic missions in Iran.
The closing statement also condemned Iranian intervention in the matters of Yemen and Syria and its continued occupation of three islands belonging to the United Arab Emirates.
Morocco was represented by a delegation led by delegate minister for foreign affairs and cooperation, Mbarka Bouaida and Morocco's ambassador to Cairo, Kingdom's permanent representative to the Arab League Mohamed Saad Alami.
