Ansar Dine turns to the internet
Recently, the communications manager of Ansar Dine, Sanda Ould Bouamama, initiated  several online discussions on international jihadist forums, including the "Ansar Al-Mujahideen Network." The Islamist group affiliated with AQIM called for "brothers and members"  to submit their questions about the ideology of the organization and the situation in the region of Azawad.

Sanda Ould  Bouamama recalls the origins of the Salafist Group and its intention to implement sharia. Experts say this may be linked to the death of Abu Yahya al-Libi who was responsible for recruiting fighters using modern technologies. His death  has prompted the organization to seek new ways to maintain a support base that continues to erode. Questions relate to the ideology of the organization, its relationship with AQIM, the  response to possible military strikes on the part of West African States and the  application of Sharia as well as information enabling volunteers to join the organization camps in northern Mali.

The Movement for the Liberation of Aazawade (MNLA) has had a website for sometime.
