Rabat - All the proactive and preventive measures and procedures taken to stem the spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) are announced through official channels, underlined the Ministry of Interior. In a note, the ministry denied the allegations and the lies run in a document posted on social networks and instant messaging applications concerning the closure of entrances and exits of some cities and the freezing of activities by the police and civil defense, as well as the holding of an urgent meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior to declare a state of emergency in the kingdom. The Ministry said in this regard that the information contained in this document is unfounded and untrue. The same source reiterated that people responsible for the production and publication of Fake news likely to jeopardize the safety and security of citizens are liable to penalties provided for by law.
