Akhennouch appointed acting Minister of Economy and Finance

Rabat - Minister of Agriculture and Maritime Fishing, Aziz Akhennouch, has been appointed as acting Minister of Economy and Finance, said a statement of the Head of Government's Office on Friday.

 

Following the appointment by His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka, as President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), the Head of Government passed an act on Thursday, August 22, putting Akhennouch in charge of the duties of the Minister of Economy and Finance, the statement said.
